• Fionnuala Britton is an Irish runner who specializes in the 3000m steeplechase. She was born on 24th September 1984.

• Fionnuala won the 2011 European Cross Country Championships in Velenje, Slovenia.

• Fionnuala is a dedicated sportsperson, rising with the sun every morning for her first run of the day.

• She has represented Ireland in the steeplechase at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2009 World Championships in Athletics, and twice at the European Athletics Championships.

• Fionnuala has qualified for the 2012 London Olympics. Griffeen Valley Educate Together will be cheering for her this summer!
