We only buy Fair

Seachtain na Gaeilge We can play the
drums. Neil from Drum Nature came to do a drum workshop with the infant classes. Alison's Junior Infants enjoyed making lots of music!
Some of us even
had a go at conducting! We had great fun on our Easter Egg Hunt. Can you work out who is who with our cool masks we made in art?
We learned loads about magnets.
Miriam from the DSPCA came to talk to both classes about animals and how to take care of them.
We made some Christmas decorations from salt dough. When they were dry we painted them and took them home to hang on our trees.
In Alison's class we went outside to our school's potato patch to harvest the potatoes with her and Liz. Liz then took the potatoes and cooked them (with a little help from us of course!).
In art class we drew self portraits. We all agree the look pretty fab.
In Alison's class we went on a nature walk to Griffeen Valley Park to collect some autumn leaves. We loved the beautiful colours of the leaves.
After our nature walk, Timothy made Hedgerow Jam for his teacher. Into it he put rosehips, crab apples, blackberries, elderberries and rowan berries. Alison said it was really yummy.
Anna came into our classes to talk about and read her books to us. We really enjoyed it.
In both our classes we made Fantastic Mr Fox masks to celebrate Roald Dahl Day. Below are Carol's class busy making their masks.
Alison's class were also very busy making masks.
